It’s sort of a truism that Buddhists are somewhat hilarity-impaired. I’ve submitted funny articles to the likes of Tricycle and Shambhala Sun, and their reaction can best be described as baffled. (I’m referring specifically to American Zen Sayings, which found a home here.) This website actually has the world’s largest collection of funny Buddhist things. It numbers three.

So it’s a special moment when someone delivers actually funny stuff about Buddhism. Who could do such a thing? The Onion? Yes. Of course, the Onion. Buddhist Extremist Cell Vows To Unleash Tranquility On West.
